About Plainsheet

Plainsheet is a small, independent studio based in Seoul, South Korea. We make simple, clean spreadsheet and printable templates for everyday tasks: budgets, paycheck planning, paying off debt, tracking net worth, meal planning, wedding planning, freelancer invoices, PTO and habits.

What we believe

Most people don't need a complicated app. They need a sheet that opens in Excel or Google Sheets, has clear input cells, and calculates the rest. Every template uses plain formulas, with no macros, no add-ons and no sign-in.

How the templates are made

Each template is designed, built and checked by us. We use software tools, including AI-assisted tools, for drafting text and checking formulas. Every file is opened and tested in both Excel and Google Sheets before release, and comes with sample data and a "How to use" tab.

Guides

Our free guides explain the method behind each template, such as the debt snowball versus avalanche or how to budget a biweekly paycheck. They are general educational content, not financial, tax or legal advice.
